Just back from a work trip to Barcelona that I managed to stretch over a weekend. It was the fifth time I’ve been there, and on each trip I learn a little bit more about this fantastic city, and my ability to order tapas in Spanish gets better.
Spent a few evenings in the area called Born - loads of funky little bars, Catalan places with incredible tapas, and cool vintage stores.
We ate this in one of those tapas places we stumbled upon. Chorizo in sherry, fresh sardines, huge prawns, plenty of bread and some chilled red wine. Foodie heaven.

Some people may think it’s a bit creepy, but I have to say that I do love old taxidermy stuff. This is the first I’ve actually bought - £15 at a car boot sale on the weekend. Now, where to put it…

Thank you! :D

Love your site. And still thinking of going into PR? I’ve been doing it 10 years now. My advice would be to try the Greek island idea first ;-)

Why thank you! :]

And I agree. Greek islands just sounds so much better.

Do you do PR in a bigger/smaller city?

London, for my sins. Technology PR. It can be a lot of fun, but you end up feeling like the Great Wizard of Oz behind the curtain pulling levers, while Dorothy and her posse takes all the credit ;-)

Now if I could do that and live on a Greek island at the same time…

Who thought it was a good idea to describe a fairground ride as ‘boisterous’? Clearly the signmaker was a bored dude with a dictionary ;-)
